It far outweighed any expectations I had . The emails clearly stated what was required , and although I was nervous , Sabari quickly put my nerves at ease . Everything was well thought out, including a plan b because of the weather . I really enjoyed being in a small group , the session was friendly and informal , we were encouraged to go at our own pace , with Sabari making suggestions that helped boost my confidence. I had the most wonderful experience and I am really looking forward to booking on for my next session. Sabari is an absolute gem.

I'm a digital artist who completed his bachelor's in fine arts and currently pursuing masters in arts
Art has always been a part of my life , from broken up pieces of crayons and making a mess in the living room with colors I was privileged enough follow it to a stage in my life where I know it's purpose in my life and in the whole world itself. I have done works in many mediums, I have been learning watercolor for the last ten years or so. Watercolor is a medium that's brings a certain level of satisfaction in one's work. My previous experiences includes working as art teacher where I helped students to tailor their individualistic take on artistic practices and expression. One experiences ebb and flow with art, it's never a constant straight path but if we push it through it's like unlocking a language for yourself.

When teaching my 5th grade class watercolors for their landscape project, I always do one with them. As we go along, I point out places where I have used a certain technique or how I resolved a problem I incurred along the way. This come from a photograph in the Our State magazine but I cannot find the photographer's name at the moment.

1st Watercolor. This was piece was done from a photo reference of a house my wife liked. A dream of ours to live near the coast. As water color is not my main medium and is new to me, I enjoy being part of water color sites. There I can find inspiration and learn new things. I don?t usually post any of my art. I am flattered that Denver Watercolor Group has showed interest in this piece. I was curious how my first attempt would be received?I plan on continuing to learn more and sharing my progr

1st. Watercolor...This piece was done from a photo reference of a home my wife liked. A dream of ours to live near the coast. As watercolor isn't my usual medium, this was my first attempt at a complete work. I seem to bring more illustration techniques to this medium. I am trying to paint more loosely and learn more light techniques. My main interest in joining watercolor groups is for inspiration, viewing others works, styles and to learn more. I am flattered that Denver Watercolor Group has

This work was created using a ? spontaneous watercolour? technique. The first layer of colour was applied randomly wet on wet. The paint created the framework for the scene, which I enhanced with detailing. I love the way watercolours can paint themselves, almost as if the scene was just waiting to be revealed and I just uncovered it.

Teaching watercolor landscapes to my 5th grade students, I, also, do one with the classes. Along the way, I will show certain techniques or explain specific problems with the painting as it was being created. This is my interpretation of a photo taken by Tommy White that was printed in the Our State magazine.
